V.E serves as Executive Chairman of the Board. Educated in the UK, V.E. begun his Oil & Gas career more than a decade ago, as a Commercial Analyst & Crude Oil Trader. He brings to the table in-depth understanding of the Angolan Oil and Gas industry and a proven track record of success after more than 10 years of service with various multinational Oil Companies.
Albert M. Namme
A man of enduring wit and a sharp mind, Albert has over 29 years’ direct and hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting, 12 of which are in the international Oil and Gas industry. A 1985 Management Studies graduate with a major in Accounting, and a post-graduate qualification in Project Management & Investment Appraisal obtained from Harvard University, USA; Albert began his working career with the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) in 1985, qualifying as an Accountant in 1987. Albert has 20 years of Country Management experience with a various multinational and international Companies.
Mr. Lopes became Principal Energy’s Chief Operating Officer in July of 2014. Educated in South Africa and Holland and a Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Engineers, Mr. Lopes is an accomplished and versatile Chartered Engineer with more than 7 years of in-depth experience in the design, development, execution and operations of large-scale construction & engineering projects. Prior to joining Principal Energy as a member of the board, Mr. Lopes held key Senior Engineering positions with major Angolan Companies. He has attended several senior management workshops and seminars in Civil and Structural Engineering across the globe.
Mrs. Cunda became Principal Energy’s Chief Financial Officer in July of 2014. Educated in the U.K. with a degree in Accounting & Banking, Mrs. Cunda is an accomplished and versatile Banker with more than 4 years of relevant experience in the management of liquidity & reserve positions. She has attended several finance & treasury workshops and seminars and is uniquely qualified to guide Principal Energy through the challenges of Angola’s banking and treasury environment.
Mr. Zua became Principal Energy’s Chief Marketing Officer in July of 2014. Educated in South Africa, Mr. Zua is an accomplished and versatile Marketing Manager with more than 5 years of in-depth experience in the development, execution and operations of small and medium sized businesses. Prior to joining Principal Energy as a member of the board, Mr. Zua owns and successfully runs his own Catering business/restaurant.
SCN became Principal Energy’s Chief Legal Officer in August of 2014. SCN is a registered/qualified and versatile Lawyer and practising member of the Angolan Bar Association. Educated in Angola and the UK with a Masters in Oil & Gas Management, SCN has more than 6 years of global experience in the legal development, structure and organisation of Oil & Gas projects. Prior to joining Principal Energy, SCN held key senior positions in major Angolan Companies.
Mr. Loth became Principal Energy’s Chief Information Officer in July of 2014. Educated in South Africa with a degree in Computer Programming, Mr. Loth is an accomplished and versatile IT Manager with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the development, execution and operations of IT projects for the banking industry. Prior to joining Principal Energy, Mr. Loth was a Project Manager for various IT projects in the banking sector and has attended several IT workshops and seminars across the globe.
Mr. Silva became Principal Energy’s Chief Purchasing Officer in July of 2014. Educated in the United States with a degree in Business Management, specialising in Finance, Mr. Silva is an accomplished and versatile Supply Chain Manager with more than 3 years in-depth experience in supply chain systems and processes. Prior to joining Principal Energy, Mr. Silva was Supply Chain Manager for Taymar Comercial Lda, Angola.
